Nomination - Tera de Marez Oyens Prize

I have been nominated for the 2026 Tera De Marez Oyens prize! The final will take place on the 12th of September 2026 as part of the Gaudeamus festival in Utrecht.

A movement from The Zeewijk Passion - The Song of Leendart Hasenbosch, will be performed by tenor Gijsbert Westland, gambist Alex Baker and organist Joël Boone.

"The Tera de Marez Oyens Prize is all about encouraging composing talent that has recently graduated in the Netherlands and bridging the gap between education and professional practice."

I am thrilled that two of the other nominees are also alumni from The Royal Conservatoire The Hague! Congratulations especially to Amba and Annija, I look forward to hearing your pieces at the performance.
