LYDIA GARDINER
COMPONIST & MUZIKANT
Lydia Gardiner is een componist en zangeres uit Perth, Australië. Haar werk als componist richt zich op het ontwikkelen van een harmonische taal die tonaliteit op een nieuwe en onderscheidende manier gebruikt, gecombineerd met zorgvuldige manipulatie van timbre om een beeld op te roepen en een communicatieve link te creëren tussen haarzelf, de artiest en de luisteraar. Ze heeft een bachelordiploma met eersteklas onderscheiding in muziekcompositie van de University of Western Australia en woont momenteel in Den Haag, waar ze in 2023 begon met een master in compositie aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium en de Holland and Excellence Scholarships van het Conservatorium ontving.
